The short version: every figure on this site is computed in your browser. The loan amounts, rates, dates, and payments you type are never stored by us and never sent to a server.
What we collect
Nothing you type. The calculators run entirely in your browser. There are no accounts, no forms that submit anywhere, and no cookies set by us. The only measurement on this site is a cookieless page-view counter, described under Analytics below.
Your inputs and shareable links
As you use a calculator, your inputs are encoded into the page address so you can bookmark a scenario or share it. That link exists in your browser and wherever you choose to send it. One honest detail: when you open a shared or bookmarked link, the address, including the figures in it, reaches our hosting provider like any web request. We run no code that reads, stores, or reports it.
Hosting
This site is served by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes your IP address and browser information to deliver pages and protect against abuse, and may keep short-lived technical logs. See the Cloudflare privacy policy.
Analytics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views. It is deliberately minimal: it sets no cookies, stores nothing on your device, and does not fingerprint or track you across sites. It reports aggregate figures such as which pages were visited, the referring site, country, and page load performance. It identifies no one, so there is nothing personal to opt out of. And if you block the cloudflareinsights.com script, the site works exactly the same. See the Cloudflare privacy policy.
Advertising
This site is in the process of joining Google AdSense, and the calculator pages load a script from Google as part of that. When your browser fetches it, Google receives your IP address and browser information, the same as any script request. No ads are displayed yet.
Once ads begin showing, Google may use cookies and similar technologies to serve and measure them. If you are in a region that requires consent (the EEA, the UK, Switzerland), you will see a consent choice before any advertising cookies are used. Google’s certified consent platform serves it. Children
This site is a financial planning tool and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone, children included.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it. Please check this page if you care about the details.
