The address

Click it once and your browser selects the whole thing, ready to copy. It is deliberately not a clickable mail link. A linked address is the first pattern that harvesters scan a page for, and this one is worth a little protection.

Send the link along with your message

This is the part that saves everyone time. Every calculator here writes what you typed into the page address. Look at your address bar after you fill one in: the loan amount, the rate, the term, the first payment date, and any extra payments are all sitting in it.

So if a number looks wrong, copy that whole address out of the bar and paste it into your message. We can then open the exact scenario you were looking at, to the cent, instead of guessing which loan you meant. It is the fastest way to get an answer and usually the only way to get a precise one.

What we can help with

• A figure that looks wrong. Send the link. If the math is wrong we will fix it and say so on the page.
• Something broken on your browser or your phone. Tell us which one, and what you saw.
• A calculator this site should have, and the question you wanted it to answer.
• Anything in the privacy policy or the colophon, including the places the math approximates on purpose.

What we cannot do

We cannot advise you on your own mortgage. This site is not a lender, a broker, a servicer, or an advisor, and holds no license to be any of them. It gives estimates for education and planning, and every payoff figure on it is principal and interest only.

Questions about your actual loan belong with your servicer: your real balance, your official payoff quote, your prepayment rules, whether a recast is even offered on your account. They have your loan. We have the arithmetic.

What happens to your message

If you write to us, we have your email address and whatever you put in the message, exactly like any other email. We read it, we answer it if it needs an answer, and we add you to nothing. There is no mailing list here to be added to, and nothing you send is passed on to anyone.

That is the single place where “nothing you enter is stored” stops applying, and it stops applying because you chose to send it. Nothing you type into a calculator ever reaches us on its own. The privacy policy has the full detail, including one honest caveat about shared links.

How long we take

This is a small site, built and run by one person around other work. Most messages get an answer within a few days. A few never get one, and those are almost always the ones selling link placements.
